ARTUR DUTKIEWICZ One of the leading Polish jazz musicians, pianist, composer.

Born in Pinczów, Poland in 1958.

He graduated from The Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland and received diploma with distinction.

Dutkiewicz was a finalist of the Thelonious Monk Competition in Washington, USA.

He was the first Polish musician who played a solo recital at MIDEM in Cannes.

He is a leader of the ARTUR DUTKIEWICZ TRIO playing modern jazz and also he plays SOLO RECITALS. His last albums: "Mazurki"/solo/, „Prana”, „Traveller”/trio/ have been superbly received by audiences and critics alike.

Dutkiewicz has taken part in dozens renowned jazz and music festivals around the world such as: Northsea Jazz Festival – Hague, Jazz Jamboree – Warsaw, Campnagel Theater – Hamburg, Festival Kleiner Bunchen – Bern, Jazz Ost West – Nuremberg, MIDEM – Cannes, Music Oggi – Milan, Festival D`Europe Centrale – Paris, Europe XXL – Vienna, Sziget Festival – Budapest, Jazz Plaza Festival – Havana, Tel Aviw Jazz Festival, Glasgow Jazz Festival, Duesseldorf Jazz Rally, World Culture Festival - Berlin, Notturni in Palestro Festival - Milan, BJ Ninegates Jazz Festival – Beijing, Kontu Festival – Helsinki, Melbourne Int. In 2011 Arthur Dutkiewicz performed at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin during the World Culture Festival arranging and playing a piece for 30 pianos with pianists from around the world. The concert gathered 35 thousand of audience.
